Whitefish Chain Lake Information

The Whitefish Chain of Lakes is located approximately 20 miles north of Brainerd, Minnesota. The Whitefish Chain consists of 14 lakes that are all connected. The lakes are as follows: Upper Whitefish, Lower Whitefish, Arrowhead, Bertha, Big Trout, Clamshell, Crosslake, Daggett, Hen, Island, Little Pine, Lower Hay, Pig and Rush.

Upper and Lower Whitefish offer several types of fish for the angler! These fish are Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Bluegill, Walleye, Crappie, Whitefish and Smallmouth Bass. Whitefish is a very deep lake with a maximum depth of 140 ft. Upper and Lower Whitefish anchor the Whitefish Chain of Lakes.

Big Trout on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, offers Lake Trout, Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Bluegill and Smallmouth Bass. Trout lake is very deep with a maximum depth of 129 ft. Whitefish Chain of Lakes.

Crosslake on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, offers over 19.6 miles of wonderful Minnesota Lakeshore and reaches 85 ft deep. Crosslake connects to Rush and Daggett lakes. Crosslake offers the following sport fish; Northern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Bluegill and Smallmouth Bass.

Rush Lake on the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, offers 11.6 miles of wonderful Minnesota Lakeshore and is 891 acres in size. Rush Lake offers the sport fisherman Northern Pike, Bluegill, Crappie, Walleye and Large & Smallmouth Bass. Rush Lake connects with Lower Whitefish, Hen and CrossLake. Rush lake has a maximum depth of 106 ft.

Arrowhead Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, is a very shallow lake. The maximum depth is 14 ft. The lake size is 308 acres and offers a public boat access through the channel from Upper Whitefish. The lake offers Northern Pike, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass and Crappie.

Lake Bertha of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, has over 3.7 miles of beautiful lakeshore. Lake Bertha is 334 acres with a maximum depth of 65 ft. Lake Bertha connects to Clamshell Lake. Lake Bertha also offers great fishing. Including, Northern Pike, Bluegill, Walleye, Rock Bass and Crappie!

Clamshell Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, has over 4.3 miles of lakeshore and connects to Bertha and Lower Whitefish lakes. Clamshell Lake is 189 acres in size and 45 ft. deep. Clamshell Lake also has a public access located on the North shore of the lake off County Highway 16. Clamshell Lake also has a variety of fish for the fisherman!

Daggett Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, connects to Crosslake and Little Pine lakes. Daggett Lake is 225 Acres in size with a maximum depth of 24 ft. This lake is best for the Bass fisherman!

Little Pine lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, boasts its 6.5 miles of wonderful lakeshore, as well as, its size of 387 acres. The maximum depth on Little Pine lake is 37 ft. Little Pine lake connects to Daggett Lake and is situated near the City of Crosslake, Minnesota.

Hen Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, is 151 acres and connects to Rush Lake. Hen Lake offers Northern Pike, Bluegill, Crappie, Walleye, Large and Smallmouth Bass.

Island Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, is 176 acres with a maximum depth of 77 ft. Island Lake connects to Lower Whitefish. Island Lake offers wonderful fishing and boating.

Lower Hay lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, is 685 acres and very deep. The maximum depth is 106 ft. with 4 miles of great Minnesota lakeshore. Lower Hay lake connects to Upper Whitefish lake. Hay Lake is located near the City of Pequot Lakes. Lower Hay lake does have a public access and offers very good fishing.

Pig Lake of the Whitefish Chain of Lakes, is 191 acres and connects with Lower Whitefish lake. The lake reaches 57 ft. in depth. Pig Lake is located near the City of Crosslake. The closest public boat access is through the channel from Lower Whitefish lake.
